Verify MailerLite subscribers, group by group
Connect MailerLite with an API key, choose a group, and every subscriber is verified. The verdict is saved in a pv_status subscriber field, so you can segment on it in MailerLite straight away.
- No export, no re-import
- Catch-all and unknown are free
- Nothing is ever hard-deleted
How the MailerLite integration works
- 1
Connect MailerLite
Paste a MailerLite API key (Integrations, API).
Groups are optional in MailerLite, so subscribers who are in no group appear under All subscribers and can be verified from there.
- 2
Choose a group
Pick the group you want checked. We pull its addresses and remove duplicates first, so an address listed twice is only verified, and charged, once.
- 3
We verify it in the background
Every address goes through the full check: syntax, domain and MX records, disposable and role detection, and a live conversation with the receiving mail server. The run shows in your Bulk Jobs like any other, so you can close the tab.

Results land in MailerLite
The verdict is written to a pv_status subscriber field: pv-good, pv-risky, pv-invalid or pv-unknown. Use it as a segment condition.
What each result means
Every address gets exactly one of these, written to MailerLite as described above.
| Result | Meaning | Credit |
|---|---|---|
| pv-good | The mailbox was confirmed to exist. Safe to send. | 1 |
| pv-risky | A catch-all domain: it accepts every address, so the mailbox could not be confirmed either way. | Free |
| pv-invalid | The mailbox does not exist. Sending here earns a hard bounce. | 1 |
| pv-unknown | No definite answer from the mail server (blocked, greylisted or timed out). | Free |
Cleaning up MailerLite
Remove invalid unsubscribes those subscribers from your account. They are not deleted, so their history remains.
Removal is always your choice and never deletes anything. pv-risky and pv-unknown are never removed, because neither proves an address is bad. If a sync fails part way, nothing is written back at all rather than acting on partial results.
Why MailerLite users verify
MailerLite reviews sender behaviour closely and can restrict accounts with high bounce or complaint rates. Imported lists and old groups are the usual culprits, so verifying a group before it goes into a campaign is cheap insurance.
What it costs
A MailerLite sync costs exactly what verifying those addresses any other way would: 1 credit per definite answer (valid, invalid or disposable). Catch-all, unknown and error results are free, because none of them confirms anything. Credits never expire, and new accounts get free credits to try it, no card needed. See pricing for packs.
MailerLite integration FAQ
Can I verify subscribers that are not in any group?
Yes. They appear under All subscribers when you choose what to verify.
Where do I see the result in MailerLite?
On each subscriber, in the pv_status field. Build a segment where pv_status is pv-good to send only to confirmed mailboxes.
Does unsubscribing delete subscribers?
No. They stay in your account as unsubscribed, with their history.
