Find a work email, and pay only when it is confirmed

Give us a name and a company domain. We work out the likely address formats, check each one with the company's own mail server, and return the one that exists. If nothing can be confirmed, you get a plain Not found and pay nothing.

  • Checked against the real mail server
  • 10 credits only when confirmed
  • Not found is free

How it finds the address

  1. Rule out the impossible first. Disposable domains, free mailbox providers and domains with no mail servers are answered immediately, free, without touching anyone's server.
  2. Rank the formats. Up to 15 candidate formats (jane.doe@, jdoe@, jane@ and so on) are ordered by what we have learned about that domain and its mail provider.
  3. Ask the mail server. The most likely candidate is checked first, then the rest in small waves, stopping as soon as one is confirmed. Nothing is ever sent.
  4. Answer honestly. A confirmed mailbox comes back as Found with quality good. If no candidate can be confirmed, the answer is Not found, never a guess dressed up as a result.

From code

Find one email (cURL)
curl -X POST "https://api.primeverifier.com/v1/finder" \
  -H "X-API-KEY: pk_live_your_api_key" \
  -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
  -d '{ "firstName": "Jane", "lastName": "Doe", "domain": "acme.com" }'

The response gives the email, status (Found or Not Found), quality, result (ok, catch-all or unknown), a 0-100 confidence, the mailbox provider and the credits charged. Send up to 100 contacts at once to /v1/finder/batch.

What it costs

  • Found: 10 credits

Charged only when the company's mail server confirms the mailbox.

  • Not found: free

    No confirmed candidate, no charge.

  • Catch-all domain: free

You get the most likely format, marked risky, without paying for an answer that cannot be confirmed.

  • Free providers and bad domains: free

Gmail-style addresses, disposable domains and domains with no mail servers are answered instantly at no cost.

Credits are the same ones used for verification and never expire. See pricing.

Email finder FAQ

What do I need to find an email?

A first name and the company's domain, such as acme.com. A last name helps a lot and is optional.

When am I charged?

10 credits, only when we confirm the mailbox with the company's mail server. Not found is free, and so is an answer on a catch-all domain, because that cannot be confirmed.

What happens on a catch-all domain?

The server accepts every address, so no format can be confirmed. We return the most likely format for that name, marked risky and catch-all, with a moderate confidence, and do not charge for it.

Can it find personal Gmail or Outlook.com addresses?

No. Free mailbox providers are not company domains, so there is no format to work out. Those requests are answered straight away and are free.

Can I find many people at once?

Yes. The batch endpoint takes up to 100 contacts in one call, and the Zapier app and the MCP server for AI agents each have a find-email action.
